The Heart of Our Mission: Thank You, Volunteers

Dear Volunteers,

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and on behalf of WNC Bridge Foundation, I want to take a moment to honor the incredible people who make our work possible…you.

Much of what makes our Thrift Store and Estate Sales successful is your time. Day after day, you diligently sort through donations, carefully clean items, thoughtfully price each piece, and arrange them in the store. It’s detailed, hands-on work that often goes unseen, but it is absolutely essential.

Because of your efforts, every item in our store is ready for a second life. Your care and attention ensure that the store is organized, welcoming, and full of quality finds for our customers. Your work also allows our estate sales to run smoothly, helping families and our community.

What makes this work even more special is the spirit in which it’s done. Together, we’ve built more than a team, we’ve built a family. There’s laughter throughout the building, shared stories over work tables, and a sense of camaraderie that turns hard work into something genuinely fun and fulfilling.

The generous gift of your time does more than keep our store running, it directly funds the community initiatives at the heart of our mission.

I am deeply grateful for each of you. Thank you for your dedication, your teamwork, your friendship, your support, and the joy you bring to our mission.

With gratitude,

Skip
