Recognizing Kerry Freidman

WNC Bridge Foundation is proud to recognize outgoing board member Kerry Freidman for 30 years of dedicated service and leadership.

Kerry’s journey with our organization began in 1996 when he joined the board of Thoms Community Care Foundation. He later served as Board Chair from 2003–2005 and went on to lead CarePartners Foundation as Board Chair. Most recently, Kerry served as Finance Chair and Treasurer for WNC Bridge Foundation through 2025. A retired attorney, he has helped guide countless decisions that have shaped WNC Bridge into the organization it is today.

A strong advocate for compassionate care, he also worked closely with Dr. Adelaide Key, helping her establish what we now know and cherish as Rathbun House.

Throughout these decades of service, his dedication has been shared alongside his wife, Anna, to whom he has been married for 42 years. We are deeply thankful to them both for the meaningful role they have played in strengthening our community.
