NOW Grant Provides a Helping Hand

Through its Helping Hands Program, Rutherford County Schools Education Foundation (RCSEF) supports students and families facing financial hardship. While many families need assistance with essentials such as food and clothing, some face challenges within their homes that can directly affect a child’s safety and well-being.

WNC Bridge Foundation awarded a NOW grant to RCSEF to expand Helping Hands through its Safe & Stable Homes Initiative. The initiative will provide targeted assistance to multiple families experiencing urgent home and safety concerns.

Grant funding will help address essential home safety repairs, pest control needs, household safety items, and sanitation and cleaning services. These smaller interventions can make a meaningful difference, helping families address concerns before they become larger crises.
