If you were on CarePartners campus November 13th or 14th you might have thought you saw Santa’s elves carrying miniature Christmas trees through our parking lots. Although our local teachers across Buncombe County are not elves, we do believe they qualify as Santa’s helpers.
Teachers from across the county braved the chilly and rainy weather to deliver their school’s Little Trees, which students decorate as part of CarePartners Foundations Little Tree program. For over a decade, Little Trees have been making lives brighter for Western North Carolina patients and families enrolled in CarePartners hospice and other CarePartners programs.
We are so impressed with the love and creativity that were put into this year’s Little Trees by our local children. Some classrooms decorated their trees with homemade cinnamon-scented ornaments while others decorated patriotic trees for our veterans. All Little Trees were bright and festive and are bringing joy and smiles to families in Western North Carolina.

The smell of cinnamon from the ornaments is sure to bring holiday cheer.
